SOHAIB ZAHID, M.D.

Dr Zahid was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan. He earned his medical degree from Dow Medical College, one of the country's most prestigious institutions. He then completed his internal medicine residency at the Allegheny health network medical education consortium in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania finishing in 2018. Afterward, Dr. Zahid joined the department of Nephrology and Hypertension as a fellow, eventually rising to the position of chief fellow for the division. He is a board-certified internist and board-certified nephrologist. In 2020, he become a part of Renal Associates and is currently working as a clinical nephrologist in downtown and south side San Antonio, while also providing services as an in-training interventional nephrologist at STAR vascular access center.
